Saw the Bundles tour in 75 with Zzebra supporting. They played brilliant - to a half empty!!! Newcastle City Hall.

he is one of people that always are amazing to me.

I was confused at first, but after watching it for a bit more I noticed he picks a lot more than I previously thought in this piece.

Whoa never thought i'd actually see a white SG performance.Didn't know he could pick like that. Now everybody does it,.. I'm so glad he went more legato later on. Don't get me wrong, musically its wonderful, i'm speechless. Just noting something only from the less important aspect of technique.

The 60`s had Coltrane we are blessed to have St. Allan Holdsworth a simply outstanding talent heres to more music from the man himself.
paulrichardschuster (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Holdsworth was amazing even then. Was there ever a time he wasn't good? String bends, palm muting...Allan would probably cringe at this now but even this early stuff cements his greatness on guitar history IMHO.

Best Soft Machine song (I more like the studio version)
