blahblah: thx. That's a good point.Too bad Lincoln used that power to violate rights, murder, and steal...
blahblah7949 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
dictator simply means someone has an abolute power where in the definition of it says a dictator has to violat rights, murder people , and steal

blahblah: how can an individual who violates your rights, murders people, steals, etc., be considered a "good" dictator?Where does the "good: come in to play?
blahblah7949 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
even if lincoln was a dictator there is such thing as good dictator.

A great, great man & a good, fine American...in the best sense of meaning...pity he's not long for this world- as with Vonnegut so recently, he will be gone too soon, our fallen hereos--where are those able to pick up and continue speaking truth?

i was somehow rioting myself but i mean the right way (i guess)anyway everything supports some purpose i suppose and ive even thought of the possibillity that the killing might have been on purpose to cause havoc, just like 9/11 in a smaller scale. You can never be sure tho but everything serves its purpose, the way the system works.Rioting to my eyes is keeping the flame alive, but rioting the right way.

Aeonius88: Lol. Speaking of Greece, do you have an "insiders" perspective on why some of the people there are rioting?I don't find the explanation given (because the pigs shot some 15 year old) that plausible...
Aeonius88 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
of course they were cause martial law was voted etcbut the dictatorship im talkin about is a worldwide phenomenon and from your answer i realise that you can understand what i am talkin aboutim from greece and we had our dictatorship back in the 70s,but things aint no different now

Aeonius88: that is quite true that the US is still under a dictatorship. But, it is a question of degree. Things were much more oppressive in the dictatorship that Lincoln implemented in the Civil War.
Aeonius88 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the us are still under a dictaroship manthe one created by the medias propaganda along with the corrupt governments, banking cartels and the army.its just not easy to see and thats where propaganda comes in.
