well if you do watch his clip of his studio he actually uses a lot of drum sequencers and also uses Cubase (I think latest version) but yeah Reason is perfect for achieving sounds like as such, and you can also use FL but there's not much control if you always have used reason like me.

i've seen The Room. it is what it is. what it makes no sense to post a response like "Great video but see The Room by Tommy Wiseau." it's completely unrelated. also, the room has been screening since 2003 and i'm tired of seening the billboards for it around my neighborhood. Tommy needs to make and push a new film and just let The Room be covered on MST2K.cheers.

you can make this kind of indietronic music using reason 2.5 and up its really the greatest tool fpr electronic music i mean is your ona buddget you dont need all that fancy stuff even though we all love it me my group we do similar music...and from being in the studio using there eqquiptment and using reason ill leave all the hassle of tweaking vibing ect to my mouse....and have more time to creat.....

Usually with this genre of music they use electronic drums, and such. You can never really know what kind of instrument they use for to make the beats. Sometimes they will use the most random things to get a specific sound. For instance in a song by Imogen Heap, she used C.D cases hitting against a rolled up carpet to get the specific sound of her beat.
